Who says chalk paint is just for furniture?

This was my first attempt at creating a  fast-forward video. I wanted to show you how to use Annie Sloan Chalk Paint to create a moody, atmospheric seascape. The plan was:

✅ painting on an old picture frame reclaimed surface—no prep needed!

✅ Showing simple techniques to create depth and drama with Chalk Paint.

It is  a fast, fun, and easy way to start painting, even if you’ve never picked up a brush before. Chalk Paint dries quickly, blends beautifully, and works on almost anything! The quick drying time means I can build layers fast, blending colours on the board to create light and movement.

Anyway i am looking to get better at filming over the coming months but if you are a chalk painter do tag Tartan Paint to  see your creations! 🎨
