Bonnie

Bonnie is an original highland cow painting in soft coastal colour, layered in blues, greys and quiet white. Her windswept coat and calm expression give her the feel of a considered piece of art rather than a novelty print, and the textured background adds real depth and movement.

An original highland cow painting with a coastal palette

Most highland cow art shouts. Bonnie does the opposite. This highland cow painting keeps the colour soft, so she settles a room instead of taking it over. That makes her easy to place, in a modern living room, a coastal hallway, a neutral bedroom, or a country kitchen that wants one quiet piece with character. For anyone who loves a highland coo but prefers calm colour over bright, she is the one.

A one of a kind piece

Bonnie is a genuine one off. She was built up by hand in mixed media in the Perth studio, so every layer of paint and every brushstroke is unique to her. The painting itself is one of a kind, so whoever buys her owns the original Bonnie. That is a rare thing in a world of mass produced wall art, and it is part of what makes an original worth having.
