We are a team based in Perth, and we love getting our work out into the world. Here is everything you need to know about postage, and the questions people often ask.
Postage
Postage is a flat rate set by what you are buying, so you know the cost before you reach the checkout and it does not shift about with your postcode.
Australia
- Cards, $5 posted to you in a hard backed envelope. Or $3.50 and we will write it and post it straight to them, plain envelope, your message in the order notes
- A card and a poster together, $25
- Merch and small prints, $12
- Posters in a tube, $20
- Canvases, $149
- Original paintings, $199
- Pickup from Joondalup, free
Most baskets are charged at the rate of the dearest thing in them, so adding a card to a canvas order does not add to the postage. A poster and a card are the exception, because a tube and an envelope travel separately.
Canvases and original paintings
These are oversize and Australia Post will not carry them. They are professionally boxed with foam packing, insured, and delivered to your door with a signature needed on arrival. Allow two to three days for the packing, then five to seven days on the road.
The $149 and $199 cover the mainland and Tasmania. Islands and remote postcodes are by quote, so email hello@tartanpaint.com.au with your address before you order and we will sort a price. If an order does land from somewhere the courier will not reach for the flat rate, we will email you the real figure first and you can pay the difference or take a full refund.
Overseas
We post to New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the United States and Canada. Cards are $6 and anything that fits in a parcel is $45.
Canvases and original paintings overseas are by quote, because a crate crossing an ocean is a different animal altogether. Email hello@tartanpaint.com.au with your address and we will price it properly. If you would rather not wait on a boat, the digital downloads print wherever you are.
How long it takes
Most orders are posted within a few working days. Australia Post reckon on two to three business days for Perth metro, three to six for the other capital cities and up to eight for regional and remote addresses. Canvases and originals run on the courier timings above.
Cards and beer mats may travel as a large letter, which is not tracked. Anything breakable is sent as a tracked parcel.

Are the cards blank inside?
Every greeting card is blank inside, leaving plenty of room for your own witty banter.
What are the cards made from?
300gsm cast coated paper and measures 17.8cm by 12.7cm and the envelope is included.
Where are your products made?
Everything starts as Caroline's original artwork and is printed right here in Perth, Western Australia.
Can I frame the prints?
You can indeed. Frames are not included so you can go and choose a belter that suits your wall. Print sizes vary slightly, so have a look on each product for the measurements.
Do you do custom work or commissions?
